Stress anxiety and chronic worry are all emotional conditions that can cause us misery and suffering. They have been strongly linked to physical ailments such as hypertension, ulcers, heart disease, colitis, cancer and even the common cold. Stress also affects the bottom line of business, in fact the insurance industry estimate the cost of stress to business is more than £100 billion a year.

The good news is that stress and it’s related conditions respond wonderfully to hypnotherapeutic intervention. Many studies such as the one published by the Journal of Clinical Psychology cite hypnosis as the most effective self-regulatory technique for reducing stress and increasing relaxation.

Stress can be defined as the body’s non-specific response to any demands placed on it whether it be pleasant or unpleasant. There are many different types of stress and it is often associated with major life changes, good and bad and with crises both large and small. These may include being stuck in a rush hour traffic, to arguments with an employer spouse or children, to being fired or breaking a fingernail or learning that you are the victim of the terminal illness. Stress can also be caused by noise, resentment, fatigue, promotional upsets or ones own imagination.

All human behaviour is result of both conscious and unconscious processing both are equally vital and important and each must be addressed for optimal effectiveness.

The Mindworks program for stress is uniquely designed to provide a dynamic intervention on both the conscious and unconscious. We use the latest hypnosis techniques with the science of Neuro Linguistic Programming to help people take control of their lives. The goal is to bring the unconscious mind into a working partnership with the conscious mind to achieve success in attaining one’s conscious desire.  Mindworks provides a highly individualised programme which focuses on your particular stress triggers and reactions and, using alignment techniques, dramatically reduces your stress symptoms in just one two hour session.  If necessary a free top up session can be arranged.
